Casa El Desayuno: Reviews & Ratings
My husband and I visited on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. The cafe de olla, food and service was amazing. Rebeca was our server and she was the sweetest and so attentive. We highly recommend this place!!! Thank you, Rebeca!!
I found this place while doing a random Google Search for some places to have brunch. Yo, I am so happy I found this place. The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I got the fiesta chicken omelette (I think that's the name) that came with hash browns, and I ordered a waffle on the side. Omg! Everything was amazing. It was so amazing that I wanted to compliment the chef. Well, they actually went to get the chef so me and my friends could sing his praises. Shout-out to Luis for putting it down in the kitchen! And thanks for the pancake flight too! That was delicious as well. Our server was Vanessa, and she was very kind and attentive. Overall, 10 out of 10. Oh yeah, they had a live Mariachi too. We had just caught them at the very end of their performance but at least we got to hear at least one song. If you are in town, or a local who wants to eat at a great spot, check this place out. It does get crowded so get there early.
I recommend Anna C as your waitress. She gave us not only great service but a great experience. Anna had us try 3 different flavors of salsa that complimented our dishes that we ordered. The food is top notch. Great bold flavors. Food was delivered quickly. I suggest the Cafe olla.
Not only does this place feel like home, but the staff is also incredibly professional and welcoming. They treat you with genuine kindness from the moment you walk in. Edgar was our server today, and he was absolutely wonderful—he helped us choose our food with such patience and enthusiasm. The drinks were fantastic, and every detail, from sitting down to leaving, made the experience truly enjoyable.
Came back for the second time and everything was just as amazing as the first time! It was my fiancée's birthday and what better way to start it off than with bottomless mimosas. And when they say bottomless, they mean it!! They cannot let you get to the bottom of your glass so the champagne kept coming! Our server was Kathy who was my server last time and she was awesome! One of the owners and son Erick stopped by our table (and also assisted with refilling the mimosa) and was telling us a bit about the place. I love that it's family owned and operated. You can really feel the homey vibes when you walk in. Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful. Okay the food, just as delicious as before. I switched it up and got a Torta this time and a side of french toast. The torta was delicious and the meat was so tender and flavorful. The french toast though!!! It brought me back to my childhood when my dad would make french toast for breakfast. I was so sad when I finished it. My fiancé tried the same omelet as last time and it was still just as good. She also got a waffle with it and was too transported back in time! Sadly we are moving soon but I will be back for that french toast, and will continue working my way around the menu before we leave.
I love Casa El Desayuno. The Craig location is my favorite. Lexi was my server today, she's wonderful. The food is always delicious. The service is always great. The portions are so large I always leave with leftovers. Great restaurant. I highly recommend Casa El Desayuno.
Super super yummy food!! Our waitress was Silvia and she was so kind and made sure we had a good time. The food was great we ordered Cafe de Olla (it comes with refills and a concha on top!), Chilaquiles Tricolor which comes with steak but I actually switched it for grilled chicken, Chorizo Skillet, and the Pancake flight (Nutella, Gansito, and Mazapan). All amazing food and great service would love to come here more often but it’s so difficult when it’s always so full but for good reason at least!
We had a great first experience at Casa El Desayuno! Our waitress, Silvia, was wonderful — super welcoming and kind. She even surprised us with complimentary pancakes since it was our first visit, which was such a nice touch. We ordered the 3-pancake taster menu and a massive omelette. Portions were very generous and perfect for sharing. The flavors were a bit on the mild side, but everything was fresh and easy to season to taste. Overall, great service, generous portions, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
